Update on Homicide on Autauga County Road 161, Marbury, AL

On Sunday, August 4, 2019, at approximately 1:00 pm, deputies from the Autauga County Sheriff's Office responded to the 1400 block of County Road 161, Marbury on a possible fight in progress between a male and female.

Upon arrival of Autauga County Deputies, a male subject was detained and a deceased female's body was located. 

The male identified as James Warren Thomas, BM, age 54 was arrested and charged with Murder.  Thomas is being held in the Autauga Metro Jail under a $150,000.00 Cash Bond.

The deceased female has been identified as Cynthia Harmin Waldroup, BF, Age 61 of the 1400 block of County Road 161, Marbury,AL.  The cause of death being strangulation and multiple blunt force injuries.
